- a site designed for anyone and everyone who loves horses and anything having to do with horses. Poke around. You're sure to find something that catches your eye here.

We have things to buy, stuff to read, pictures and more pictures, and our special "Spurs" blog. We even have a special polling place for you to give us your 2 cents worth.

When we created Horse of Course ...

we wanted a site that offered horse folk an array of information, both fun and informative. We wanted a site for those of us who simply like to get out on the trail with our friends, or play fun horse games outside in the pasture or outdoor arena - maybe even participate in a friendly competition.

That's why we have everything from tips on riding a horse, to tips on what to do for laminitis in a horse, and a book store full of all kinds of “horse stuff.”

Avid Horse Folk ...

Because we consider ourselves avid horse folk, we want to help you in any way we can. While that includes offering you tips on training a horse, we also emphasize the importance of knowing how to train horse owners. In fact, that may very well be the most important aspect of "horse" training. Perhaps no one describes it better than Buck Brannaman when he refers to "horses with people problems" versus people with horse problems. So, with that in mind you be sure to trot on over to "The Corral" for tips on horse (and people) training.

There is a lot of information here we hope you find valuable and interesting. We've tried to provide you with many viewpoints on horse ownership and horseback riding. We humbly suggest you read as much as possible on the subject; get horse back riding lessons, instruction on working with your horse, and - if you don't already have them - hook up with some horse pals that share your enthusiasm and willingness to learn about horses. It's always more fun with other horse folk who share your desire to experience a horse. The more knowledge you get under your belt, the more you'll realize there isn't anybody who knows all there is to know about these amazing creatures. So keep learning, every chance you get. Your horse will thank you for it.

Winter really is on the way (darn it), so be sure to use the long cold months to get yourself in shape. You'll want to be all tuned up to ride your frisky friend come next spring (it will come, promise!). Get yourself a good exercise/fitness program that gets you fit.
